The very rustic Boho wedding venue of White Sykes Fields is situated just out side York nestled in the Yorkshire country side. There is a quaint wooden sign pointing you to am amazing cool drive way lined by deciduous forest of trees with a sprinkling of wildflowers to add a spot of summer colour adding to the Rustic vibe.
As you approach the wedding venue you have no doubt you are in the right place as the barn has its side wale painted in crisp white paint with large black letters indicating that you have definitely arrived at your rustic boho destination
A lovely path made of seasoned logs send you to the white washed function barn, passing by some deep purple hydrangeas on your way. You are then met by a sunny field full of corn, sending a golden glow as far as the eye can see. there are some rustic seating areas for guests to relax and a delightful pond hidden by weeping willow trees.
The white washed barn was awesome and dresses in the most colourful flowers supplied by Hare and Howl a siperior florist from York. Justine was working away in the corner with hair and make up and Rebecca our model for the day was getting ready.
Zavinta of Beadyi bridal designs was happily away arranging everything, I had a wander over and looked at her amazing creations all do intricately by hand.
The wedding dresses were supplied by the very popular bridal shop Re loved York, there was a floaty wedding dress and a classic Tea wedding dress. Charlotte who was our host was also the cake maker and indeed has her own wedding cake business Apple Charlotte.
As I was walking around the amazing working farm and soaking up the authentic country setting, there were clucking hens, super barns with the most original wheel chandeliers and stunning red brick walls ideal for the rustic vibe wedding.
