A styled shoot was planned at the gorgeously magical North Shire in Saltburn by Sea just outside Whitby in Yorkshire, as a photographer in York i was invited to shoot this magical shoot amongst the Hobbit house and the enchanted barn
Set in the beautiful backdrop of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, North Shire is the perfect place for a magical wedding setting with a storybook ending
Magic is the theme of this venue with a large helping of love, fairy tales and happy endings making it the most fabulous place to get married.
The enchanted barn with it’s stunning design and breathtaking beauty is adorned with the most enormous chandeliers that you have ever seen and there are large branches and tall tree trunks everywhere, fairy lights adorn everything and twinkle softly at night lighting up the whole barn I was told by the owner.
The style of this shoot was very informal, relaxed and certainly Boho Chic. There was a Harpist, Hannah the Harp, plucking away at the strings of her beautifully wooden carved instrument,setting the scene for us all, sat in one of the shepherds huts, an Alice in Wonderland themed one of many with mythical fairy tale themes. Harry Potter themed Haggrid house with the Blue ford Anglia parked up , even the Hobbit house was here !!!
The classic Rolls Royce housed one of the girls and its chauffeur escorted her out safely to the waiting dogs that had been brought to the shoot. It is now very common to have your pets at your wedding, well it is for the couples that book me as they are outdoorsy types that love yoga, organic foods, walking, yurts and all things relaxed, placing emphasis on fun and good times.
The models were now ready, and they had the most gorgeous dresses that flowed effortlessly as they moved, one had a bodice with feathers structuring it, the girls swished and swirled in them and sudden gusts of wind would waft them high up like the famous Marilyn Monroe moment
One of the bouquets was made from paper a very vividly bright red one completely eye catching and certainly a statement piece, the other was a very colourful button bouquet that was super cute..as a button..it had the most gorgeous colours I could have run off with it and kept it forever
The shoot was a simple one showcasing the North Shire and its appeal to all those lovers of all things relaxed and informal, ideal for couples who love a giggle and don’t take themselves too seriously my dream couples to photograph.
